2nd Grade Teacher
1. What made you decide to be a teacher/work in education?
For a long time in my life I knew I wanted to work with and help people.
In high school I started volunteering at schools and in hospitals. This is when I found my passion for working with and inspiring kids.
2. Where did you graduate from/what has brought you to this point?
I graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2004. I had always wanted to move west, so when I found out about the great schools in Eagle county I was on my way!!
3. How many years have you been teaching/working in education?
This is my second year working in education, however my first at an elementary school.
4. What do you like most about teaching/working in education?
I love seeing my students everyday, they really inspire me.
5. Anything else you would like the GES school community to know about you.
I am very excited to be working at GES. I think that the school's staff and the community are a perfect fit.
